What Touches the Water

The pot interior, the pump stem, and the grounds basket are stainless steel, so the water’s brewing loop is metal. The exterior handle and base trim are plastic, and they never see water. We could not verify the material of the cover knob on every production run, so we flag it rather than claim an all-metal lid; the brew loop itself is steel.
